Hey friends!

If you saw me stuffing my face with funnel cake at the Dogwood last week…my apologies.

Anyways, Inside Out season is BACK! Consider this newsletter your guide to the first weekend of Bridge Street closures.

In exciting Phoenixville Curated news… we’re co-hosting our first event! We’re teaming up with Rec Room for a Summer House Reunion Watch Party on Tuesday May 26th! (For the uninitiated, Summer House is a Bravo reality show about a group of friends sharing a house in the Hamptons for the summer).

Expect themed drinks, games, and the collective experience of yelling at West and Amanda through the TV with fellow fans!

See you out there!

Inside Out Extravaganza

Every year, there’s one weekend where Phoenixville shifts into summer mode: the first weekend of Inside Out Bridge Street closures!

PXV Inside Out officially kicks off Friday May 22nd, with Bridge Street closed from Starr to Gay through the weekend. The closures take place until October’s First Friday weekend, so enjoy it while you can! Outdoor dining, shopping, strolling, people-watching, random run-ins with neighbors you haven’t seen since Blobfest... it’s all back!

Here’s a curated itinerary for your first Inside Out weekend:

Friday May 22nd

  • 2pm: Barricades go up & Bridge Street is closed to traffic

  • 4-8pm: Attend the PXV Pizza Party with Mayor Peter in the Phoenixville Foundry parking lot

    • Featuring Drink Not Pizza vodka drinks, Common Good Pizza, Sly Fox beer, and The Lost Cow cheesesteaks

  • 8pm: Peak people-watching begins! Grab a beverage, find a bench, and enjoy the unofficial start of Phoenixville summer

Saturday May 23rd

  • 9am: Stroll the farmer’s market with a coffee from 260 Bridge

    • Bonus points if you leave with a fresh bouquet of flowers or ingredients for a picnic at Reeves Park

  • 1:30pm: Sit back and enjoy the nostalgia during the Colonial’s screening of Raiders of the Lost Ark

  • 7pm: Enjoy dinner outside on Bridge Street

    • Many outdoor tables are first come first serve, so keep that in mind when planning your night and prepare to wander a bit

  • 8pm: Sweet tooth? Grab a slice of free cake to celebrate Twelve78’s 2 year anniversary

    • Plus, live music from Gunner and Shae 6-9pm & a new beer launch!

Sunday May 24th

  • 11am: Recovery brunch at Black Lab Bistro

    • Order a grilled cinnamon bun for the table. Or don’t share it at all

  • 2pm: Pop into your favorite shops on Bridge and Main Streets

    • Good excuse to grab an early Father’s Day gift, pick up your next book club read, or convince yourself it’s finally time to start that new hobby

  • 7pm: One last stroll down a car-free Bridge Street before reality returns Monday morning

    • Streets re-open for the week on Monday at 7am

Save this itinerary, send to a friend, and we’ll see you out there!
